Cheap and Healthy

I put this together at someone else's house who had a bare pantry. It's easy, cheap, and healthy.
Pour a can of red kidney beans and Rotel, with the juice, into a pot, add a diced onion, a pinch of Italian seasoning or basil, a blob of ketchup and a blob of shrimp ****tail sauce. Simmer down until the sauce is thick and the onion cooked, about 20 minutes, and mash some of the beans. Serve over rice.
It tastes a lot better than it sounds!
If you have to have meat, use a little ground sausage.

I didn't, either.  I remember my dear, old Great-Grandmother chasing a huge **** around her yard.  That **** turned into a great big pot of chicken and dumplins.  Hmmmmmmmmm, good!

wink

The standard profanity filter was a little overzealous!
